Artist Statement
My interest is people, and their memories are my passion. Nothing in life is more fulfilling than creating images that people will cherish forever. In my mind taking photographs not only documents a time and a place, but more importantly a feeling and a memory. A spontaneous wedding kiss, a child's characteristic smirk, an important family moment, or a landscape that may never look the same.... I truly love to capture memories. I have Bachelor and Masters Degrees from Penn State and Millersville Universities respectfully and I have taught the fine arts to children and adults for over 20 years. I have created art from a very early age, and I continue to do so today through my photographs. Happily married with 2 children, I understand the value of family and the preservation of family memories. They say, "A picture is worth a thousand words", but I believe your history, your heirlooms, and your memories are priceless.
